Description of Ministry
New Guests Team: Members make house calls on first time
guests from our Sunday services. The purpose of the call
is not to go inside the home, but to express our welcome,
gratitude for their visit, and ask a few questions: [1] How
did you hear about our church? [2] Do you have any questions
we may answer? [3] Do you have any requests or concerns we
may pray for?
Kind of Person Best Suited for Team: People comfortable meeting
new people with a desire to greet and serve.
Hospital/Convalescent Home Team: Members visit the sick
in hospitals, homes, or convalescent centers. Members share
Scripture with and pray for the people. They also attempt to
ascertain and/or meet any other needs if possible
Kind of Person Best Suited for Team: People comfortable with
the infirmed and elderly with a desire to love and serve others.

Requirements
Team members will attend the appropriate training session
and then intern under an experienced member. Hospital and
illness visits conducted as needed. Convalescent home visits
done weekly.
