to make people feel welcomed and to assist with various
needs during the Sunday service.

Description of Ministry
Greeters Team: Greeters make the all-important 'first
impression' upon visitors. They are the first people
to see and speak to our guests. They welcome people with
a smile, a handshake or hug. They escort new people to
the sanctuary, nursery, classrooms or wherever they may
need to go. Greeters arrive early to setup the Welcome Table.
Ushers Team: Ushers greet people as they enter the sanctuary.
They pass out bulletins, assist in taking the offering and are
available to assist with any other needs that may arise during
the service (i.e. getting parents for the nursery, handing out
items, etc.)
Kind of Person Best Suited for Team: People interested
in serving others for the sake of Christ.

Requirements
Team members must arrive an hour before service to prepare
for our guests. Greeters remain in the Welcome area until
15 minutes into the service. Ushers remain near the back of
the sanctuary throughout the service.
